Kayak fishing near Williams Canal for Miss Haley's Birthday

Haley's birthday wish was to go Kayak Fishing with her Dad. My Husband And I took Haley, her Dad, a cousin and Uncle on a two day Mothership trip to Williams Canal and Grand Isle to fish for Redfish and speckled trout. Haley was a trooper padding in a 14 foot kayak and handled her rod like a pro! She caught mostly redfish the first day like the one you see here. The second day she and her family caught 46 trout behind Grand Isle. There is nothing better than seeing the smile on the face of a kid when she lands her first fish all by herself! Way to go Haley!
